KKR vs PBKS Highlights: Punjab Kings start winning IPL 2023, beat Kolkata by seven runs

 The second match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 saw the Punjab Kings (PBKS) defeat the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by seven runs.

Winning the toss, PBKS chose to bat first and set a target of 180 runs, with Mayank Agarwal scoring an impressive half-century.

Despite KKR's efforts to chase down the target, they could only manage to score 173 runs. Ishan Kishan, the team's captain, scored 45 runs while Andre Russell played a brilliant knock of 32 runs.

Vivek Raiju took four wickets for PBKS while Ravindra Jadeja took three.

With this win, PBKS has secured its first victory of the season while KKR has suffered its first loss.

In the next match, PBKS will face off against Royal Challengers Bangalore, while KKR will play against Mumbai Indians in their next encounter.
